HR DIRECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION
IRDED is currently looking for someone to head its human resources unit and a procurement specialist. Profile for the HR Director Ideally, the candidate could have an undergraduate degree in management, a master degree in a relevant business
administration field and three years of relevant experience.
The candidate should have excellent verbal communication and writing skills both in English and French. Due to
the work environment of IRDED, the candidate will need to have excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel,
and PowerPoint). The candidate's management style should foster emulation and team work and strengthen the dynamism
and psychological participation of the men and women of IRDED.
Responsibilities:
" Lead recruitment efforts for projects and proposals;
" Build and maintain a network of qualified candidates;
" Contact consultants;
" Conduct phone and in-person interviews with the assistance of technical staff;
" Write and edit consultant CVs and text for proposals;
" Negotiate salary and allowances in coordination with the Office of Contracts;
" Maintain contact and updates with proposed candidates;
" Participate and collaborate with technical staff and group leads to develop strategic recruitment campaigns
and resources to identify and track senior industry specialists; and Assist with career fairs, off-site recruitment,
and networking events with universities.
